Naelos is now in Anthropic's Connectors Directory
Naelos is now listed in Anthropic's Connectors Directory with a free connector that lets Claude calculate real astrology charts. You don't need a Naelos account to use it.
I built Naelos because I got tired of AI models guessing planetary positions or hallucinating degrees. When you ask an AI an astrology question out of the box, it often makes up coordinates. That's no use for real work.
Now you can connect Naelos to Claude and get the real numbers every time.
What does the Naelos connector calculate?
The Naelos connector calculates natal charts with houses, including at polar latitudes, aspects, and Lots. It also handles today's transits, transit timing, secondary progressions, solar arc, solar and lunar returns, synastry between two people, ingresses, stations, lunations, and eclipses across thousands of years.
What it covers:
- Natal charts with houses (including polar latitudes)
- Aspects (angular relationships between planets) and Arabic Lots (sensitive points derived from planetary distances)
- Today's transits (current planetary movements) and transit timing
- Secondary progressions (a forecasting method moving one day per year) and solar arc
- Solar and lunar returns (charts cast for the Sun and Moon's exact return to their natal positions)
- Synastry (chart comparison for two people)
- Ingresses (planets entering new signs), stations (apparent halting points of planets), and lunations (new and full moons)
- Eclipses across the present and thousands of years back
How accurate are the calculated positions?
Positions come from Naelos's own ephemeris, built on NASA JPL's DE440/DE441 data and checked against Swiss Ephemeris to within an arcsecond.
Claude reads the chart. It doesn't guess the positions: Naelos works them out from astronomical data, and Claude writes the reading from those exact numbers.

How do I add it in Claude?
You can add the Naelos connector by opening Settings, going to Connectors, finding Naelos in the directory, and adding it. You can also add it by URL using https://mcp.naelos.ai/mcp.
To see it in action, try these example prompts once you have it set up:
- "Where was Mars on 15 March 44 BC?"
- "Cast my chart for [date, time, place] and tell me my progressed Moon."
The full setup guide is at https://naelos.ai/mcp.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Naelos connector free and do I need an account?
Yes, it is completely free and no Naelos account is needed to use it in Claude.
How do I add the connector to Claude?
Open Settings, go to Connectors, find Naelos in the directory, and add it, or add it directly via URL at https://mcp.naelos.ai/mcp.
How accurate are the planetary positions?
The positions come from Naelos's ephemeris built on NASA JPL's DE440/DE441 data, which is checked against Swiss Ephemeris to within an arcsecond.
